OneRepublic是由主音 Ryan Tedder 和高中同学 Brent Kutzle 於2003年成立的乐团。并在2006年被著名制作人 Timberland 签入旗下的 Mosley Music Grup 成为该公司第一组摇滚乐团，2007年由 Timberland 制作混音的首张单曲 —— Apologize，在告示牌排行榜Top 5停留了五周，并晋升至亚军的位置，在2007年底发行了首张专辑——《Dreaming Out Loud》，在美国也已卖出金唱片的成绩。
2006年时，他们将音乐放上Myspace音乐网站就轰动了网络世界，也使得他们成为该网站非常受欢迎的未签约团体，让他们一时成为站上最出名的乐团，很快地，唱片公司来敲门了，其中也包括Timberland与他的Mosley Music Group。Timberland是最清楚 Teddy 的才华以及 OneRepublic 潜力的人，所以当他将 OneRepublic 带进Mosley Music Group成为旗下第一组摇滚乐团、并担任首张专辑《Dreaming Out Loud》的执行制作时，一切都变得再完美不过了。
2007年初，他们在 Myspace网站的点阅率超过了两千两百万次，也从2006年就占据该网站最受欢迎排行榜就此盘踞不下。而2007年秋天Timberland将《Apologize》这首单曲重新混音过（该版本与原版都收录在《Dreaming Out Loud》当中）并收录在他的多白金专辑《Timbaland Presents: Shock Value》中，推出造成大轰动。以上林林总总的原因促使《Dreaming Out Loud》这张专辑的出生，期待给摇滚迷一个全新的选择。
顺便说一句，这首《Apologize》在去年的美国收视率极高的"American Idol"总决赛中现场演唱，当时是我第一次听到，瞬间被吸引。所以拿到这里来和广大六月的朋友们一起分享。希望大家会喜欢。
